When it comes to make up stockists, there's a lot out there. Let's make no mistake in that. You can buy make up from corner shops these days, and while you're at the supermarket too. There's no shortage of places to pick up a new product or two. So in order for specialist and dedicated stockists to stand out, they have to really up their game. As a beauty blogger who is OBSESSED with make up, I'm forever finding and searching out new places to buy my favourite brands. I like to shop about, what can I say! And sometimes, just sometimes I stumble upon an absolute gem. The recent of which is Love Makeup.

Creating My Own Nudestix Pick A Palette

When it comes to Nudestix, they have a soft place in my heart. Before they got BIG here in the UK, I'd already been a loyal user of their pencils for years - because I picked some up from the States and never looked back. So now I see their counter in Harvey Nichols, and how loved they're becoming in the UK, I'm even happier that they're getting the recognition they deserve here too. And plus, it makes it so much easier to add to my Nudestix collection now too!

Charlote Tilbury will forever be one of the brands with the highest of reputations. With such a strong brand based on timeless beauty, it's been created to elude to all things glamourous - but only in the very most classy way. It's top level. It's excellence embodied and it's just pure luxury. Within the luxury comes a make up line that's forever extending with amazing goodies and a skincare collection that's already established some cult status products. (Magic Cream, I'm looking at you.) And while not everyone can afford a big splurge on multiple purchases, the Charlotte Tilbury reputation means even if you can't buy it regularly, you still aspire to. And you'll likely treat yourself once in a while, walking away from the counter with excitement and deep satisfaction. (Not just me, right?!)

One American brand I rate highly and think are way under rated. I'm forever recommending their highlighters, loving their lippies and at Christmas I love their Holiday Sets. I think more people should try their products, because once they do, they'll be hooked - just like I was. I love when brands produce amazing products in quick succession, just as Laura Geller have recently, because it means I can do a thorough Brand Focus piece. Which are some of my favourites to write!

If you're a lover of the old school darker lip line and lighter lipstick (like me) then you're going to want to get your hands on the By Terry Twist-On Lipsticks. Despite being so well presented back in the 80's, a well lined lip has never gone out of fashion. Nowadays you can apply on the outer line, the lips themselves to create fuller illusions and all over as a lip colour. Pretty nifty huh?

When it comes to lip products, everyone loves the matte finishes these days don't they? The amount of brands creating lip kits and the like to satisfy the matte lip lovers is crazy. They're everywhere and there's a version for every budget. I'm okay with matte lips, okay being the operative word. I'm fussy about the formula of matte lip products, most probably because my heart belongs to more creamy or glossy finishes. Just personal preference but I will always reach for the finishes which offer dimension over a flat matte, any day. Each to their own right?

Basically I love all cosmetics - from the very high end products to the drugstore staples constantly bursting onto the market. My Huge Colourpop Haul!

Now before I start, I'm going to admit that I am a FULL Colourpop addict. I have a LOT of their products in my collection and am constantly making sneaky orders for more. I can't help myself! But I've never made quite as many as I did at the end of last year: making four separate orders in two months. Even for me, that's a lot! But what can I say? The Holiday Collections and new releases just kept coming and the Boxing Day sale was too good to miss with 40% off site-wide and a free palette, and free shipping. What's a girl to do other than shop-away?! 

The IT Cosmetics Holy Grail's (Including THAT CC Cream!)

When I featured some IT Cosmetics goodies on my Instagram stories at the end of last year, I had a lot of messages and comments from people who were eager to hear about how the products performed. This Gift Guide has had me super excited from the moment I started putting it all together! I LOVE make-up. As a beauty blogger I love skincare, nails and haircare a lot, but make-up has my heart. My 5 MAC Must Haves #MACMUSTHAVES

I've used MAC products since I was a novice in make-up. They were the brand I aspired to own as I learned to love make-up, and as soon as I could afford it (and even when I couldn't!) I would spend all my Saturday-job earnings on their make-up. Nothing's really changed since then - I still buy practically every new product they come out with, drool over their eyeshadows and swatch practically every lipstick every time I go in store. MAC are one of my Holy Grail brands - and I know that will never change. What can I say, I'm a MAC girl through and through.

Top 5 Pink Urban Decay Vice Liquid Lipsticks

Urban Decay are one of my favourite brands. Which won't come as a shock if you've read my blog and seen my social media channels. I love their products and can't get enough of them - their palettes are some of my all-time favourites, their lipsticks some of the best and their new skincare and beauty essentials are fabulous too. I just don't think there's much you can do wrong with Urban Decay goodies in your collection. Lip wise I love their Vice range - who doesn't? And I first reviewed them a while back here. So when I recently decided to try out the Vice Liquid Lipsticks, I was pretty excited. Could they beat the trusty lipstick varieties?

Falling In Love With Buxom Cosmetics

I remember Buxom Cosmetics from the very first time they were on the shelves here in the UK. Known for their sultry and seductive plumping lip products, they were one of the first brands I tried when I was attempting to get fuller looking lips. However it wasn't meant to be for Buxom at the time and I don't remember when it was exactly, but suddenly you couldn't get their products here anymore. When I was in New York last summer I bought a couple of bits in Sephora, which reminded me just how much I loved the brand. So when they launched their UK come-back this year, I was pretty excited to see what they had lined up.

First Look - Rimmel Cara Camo Limited Edition Collection

This one is hot off the presses people! Rimmel have launched a brand new and totally limited edition collection exclusively at Superdrug! With the face of the range being Cara Delevingne, the collection is called Cara Camo and is bang on trend for this summer because yep, you guessed it - it's shades are all styled on camouflage print and patterns...but of course, also with the trademark Rimmel Union Jack as a bit of a twist.

KKW x Kylie Cosmetics - Swatches, Review & Verdict

If you follow me on Twitter then you'll know that as soon as I heard about the Kylie Cosmetics KKW collab, I was excited. Not because I'm a fan of the Kylie range (I'm not) and not because I'm a Kardashian superfan (I'm not.) But I was excited because the collab was going to feature Kylie's first ever creme liquid lipstick formula. And as a creme lip finish kinda gal, this made me know for sure I wanted to get my hands on it.
