Getting The Summer Glow Using The New Bare Minerals Crystalline Glow Collection

If there was one thing I wasn't expecting on a dreary Friday afternoon, it was a gorgeous pink box to be delivered. Anything in a pink box instantly makes me happy because hey, this girl loves pink - have you seen my Instagram feed?! Anyway, upon opening it, the excitement got real. The lovely folks at Bare Minerals had released a rose gold themed, limited edition collection called Crystalline Glow and it is everything I love about make up. And as a girly-girl anything with a rose gold focus wins my heart quickly.

Too Faced Peaches & Cream Top Picks

Too Faced, Peaches & Cream, Top Picks, review

When Too Faced released their Peaches & Cream collection last year, I swooned. No, actually I didn't swoon, I fell head over heels just at the sight of the range. I am a HUGE Too Faced advocate and I have SO much from them in my make-up collection. In fact, I probably have more Too Faced than any other brand in my whole hoard. Yes, I'm a hardcore Too Faced fan. So, anyway, when I saw the new Peaches & Cream range, I couldn't wait to try it out.

First Impressions of Fenty Beauty

Everyone had waited excitedly for Fenty Beauty by Rihanna to drop and when it finally did, we heard about queues around the counters to buy the goodies! Unsurprisingly the beauty world went bananas for everything Fenty and it was so refreshing to see a celebrity beauty line that not only did what it said, but matched up - and exceeded, lots of long established brands. I don't think anyone really knew what to expect, but the reality far outweighed the expectations and it turned out to be one of the biggest launches of the year.

Getting The Glow With Iconic London Illuminators

One product type I've come to love and use daily this year, is liquid highlighters. I've been as much a fan of highlighting as the next girl, but I was late to the party with liquid highlighters. However one of the first brands I tried for this was Iconic London, and they're still the one I come back to time after time.

The New Essentials From Too Faced - Natural Love Palette & Love Light Highlighters

My love for Too Faced is never ending. I think every time they launch a new range, I'm there with bells on. (I know I told you all about the 5am alarm I set to get my hands on the Sweet Peach Palette didn't I?!) But for me the prettiest collection so far has to be their Natural Love range which launched this spring with the most amazing eyeshadow palette and matching highlighters. Girlie, feminine, pretty ...and everything I love about Too Faced, all rolled in to one. So naturally, I had to have it all.

The Best Becca Highlight Shade For Pale Skin

Having pale skin can be a bit of a pain when it comes to highlighting. There's all these amazing products in the highlighting arena from palettes that look like they belong to a goddess, right through to cream, powder and liquid varieties too. And there's no denying that highlighting is now a key make-up trend, with more and more brands extending their collections. The sad thing is that for pale skinned people like me, it can be so hard to find something that doesn't work against us rather than for us when it comes to highlighting. Even more difficult is if, like me too, you have oily skin as well. Because highlighting is then quite often not your friend either. This is the reason why I'm forever buying new highlighters - I'm constantly in search of The One. The perfect highlighter for pale skin.

The Estee Edit Gritty and Glow Palette

When it comes to palettes, they by far exceed every other type of make-up for me, and reach that ultimate position of being my firm favorite thing to buy and try. I'm quite literally obsessed with make-up palettes. In December last year alone I got 8 new palettes, and I'm already on my fourth this month - meaning 2017 is looking decidedly like a palette takeover on a whole new level! Having tried so many recently, and being a die-hard fangirl of the good-ole palettes, I feel that there's one that's gone under the radar and actually deserves a whole heap more noise: The Estee Edit Gritty and Glow Palette.

How I Contour & Highlight My Cheekbones

It's no secret that I love a good contouring powder, and despite having oily skin, I'm a big fan of highlighters too. I mean, who can resist those sparkly pots of shimmer? I've tried quite a few different ones this past year, but my fail-safe routine, the Step-By-Step Contour Stick Trio from Smashbox, has always been there to fall back on - like a trusty friend who never lets you down. And as a result, I happily re-buy time and time again.

Mac Nutcracker Sweet Holiday Collection

Oh how excited I've been to write this post! I've always been a huge MAC fan, and their recent limited edition collections have been pretty impressive to say the least. Personal favourites this past year include the Ellie Goulding Collaboration and the Vibe Tribe collection, both of which are firm favourites in my make-up bag. However the MAC collection to beat all others has arrived - it's the Nutcracker Sweet Holiday Collection, and I am in love with it all.

An Introduction To Zoeva Palettes and Brushes

Zoeva are a make-up brand I've been meaning to try properly for ages. I have tried their lipstick before, but other than that, I'm a total newbie. Their beautiful eyeshadow palettes always seem to pop up on my Instagram feed, and so I've been wanting to try out more from them for a while. Not just that, but their brush sets looked fantastic too, and I'm always looking for new make-up brushes - because a girl can never have too many right?

Estee Lauder Genuine Glow - Top Picks

When it comes to make-up, Estee Lauder is the Lady of the House.

You know you can't go far wrong with Estee Lauder make-up, skincare or perfume. Put simply - they're one of the best: one of the ultimates in beauty. Their Genuine Glow collection is no different. Plus it's housed in pink casing, so naturally I loved it from the get go.

Smashbox Favourites - L.A Lights Blush & Highlight Palette and Be Legendary Lipstick

I've been a big fan of Smashbox since I tried their products nearly ten years ago after a visit to the States. They're one of those brands who's products never disappoint and they always seem to be introducing innovative must-have's that I for one can't resist. Their primers and their Photo Finish products have inspired lesser brands to try and create dupes - but these are still by far the best. They also pull out all the stops with regards to quality - I feel like a make-up pro when I use their products. So to share in my current Smashbox adoration, I wanted to tell you guys about the two products I'm loving most at the moment...

Rodial Instaglam Powders and Glamstick Lip Butters

With names like 'Instaglam' and 'Glamstick' you know that Rodial are doing something seriously good with their current make-up ranges. Being an Instagram addict, I was really excited to try the Instaglam Contouring Powder, Bronzing Powder and Banana Powder - and the Glamstick Lip Butters have such a good reputation that I was excited to try them out too. Because when you're trying new make-up, why try just one product when you can give yourself a whole new face of make-up all at once?! (Can you see why I'm a beauty addict?!)

Nude By Nature Contour & Highlight Collection

When I first heard about the Nude By Nature Contour & Highlight Collection, I was instantly very excited. Any type of make-up with the words "contour" and "highlight" in the same sentence and you've got my attention. Not to mention the fact that Nude By Nature are one of Australia's biggest names in mineral make-up. A friend of mine who is originally from Oz had previously told me about their products, and said how highly she rated them, so hearing about the new range launching and knowing it was going to be available here in the UK was a double whammy. Waiting for the goodies to arrive was like waiting for the contour Queen herself to come through my letterbox.
