December Favourites

So it's no secret that December has been crazy with amazing beauty products. I really had to go full pelt with the blog during the past month to be able to fit everything in! It was a busy old month but I couldn't have loved it any more - I absolutely adore beauty blogging, so I was in my element! Within the past month I've been trying so many wonderful new products that I was literally spoiled for choice with deciding which goodies would make my December Favourites. But I've managed to get the best of the best together for you. So, here's what I've been loving in December....

Kiko are a brand who never fail to get their collections wrong. Their limited edition ranges have been some of my favourites to try this year and one of their newest is the Asian Touch Capsule Collection. Designed with fashion brand Isa Arfen, the collection is pretty special for capturing eastern cultures and helping to create a true geisha style at home.

KIKO have to be one of my favourite affordable beauty brands. They come out with new collections all the time, which keeps things fluid - and it means there's always something new to add to my collection. They also know what works and what doesn't, so you'll find the perfect collections for all occasions and skin types. I like how their ranges vary from the essentials, to something more out-there and bold. Their new Fall 2.0 collection recently launched and it's an absolutely beauty for autumn make-up essentials...

As a self-confessed make-up addict, beauty hoarder and compulsive make-up shopper, I like to think I have a pretty well rounded scope on make-up and beauty brands. And while I often buy high-end and counter brand products, as a Mummy already and with Baby #2 due very soon, this year I've really enjoyed getting more acquainted with some of the budget and drugstore brands. I have to admit that in previous years I've strayed away from these brands completely so it's been wonderful to have found some truly amazing products from brands like L'Oreal, Rimmel and many more recently. Not just because it seems that budget brands have hugely upped their game (they have) but also because they now create whole ranges to rival the top-end brands, but at a fraction of the price. And who can afford to turn that down?

5 Feel Good Beauty Products For Right Now

When it comes to spring, I like to overhaul my make-up and beauty regime. But this year seems to have been lacking in...actual spring. The constant rain, grey skies and cooler weather have meant most of us have been stuck wearing our coats and boots longer than usual and I for one have stuck to my autumn/winter make-up palette more, with warm, dark toned eye looks and deeper lipsticks. However it's sunny outside today, so I'm taking all the spring vibes I can get, and using it as an excuse to talk about 5 feel good beauty products for right now - because if we can't rely on the weather as a pick-me-up right now, we can always rely on our beauty products!

I've been loving Kiko Milano this year and when I saw their Holiday 2016 Collection I was pretty obsessed from the get-go. Mostly because the packaging is just so festive - the red vibes and Christmas colours are sure to get you in the festive mood, and the products themselves are really cute too. It's a win/win range for Christmas.

My Top Three Neo Noir Picks by Kiko Milano

Earlier this year I was introduced to Kiko Milano for the first time, and it was the start of a beautiful friendship. As in: we're friends and they now regularly help me to beautify myself! Trying their products for the first time was something I put off for too long, and since using their Trend Collection, I've been happily indulging in other bits and pieces of theirs along the way. Most recently, and excitingly the Limited Edition, Neo Noir collection.

There are some brands out there that I wish I'd tried sooner. Some which grace my wish-list for far too long before I finally try them and fall head-over-heels, and wonder why I waited so long. I then usually float into a state of make-up euphoria, and make sure I tell everyone about them as well. After all, that's what you do when you're in love isn't it?! My latest make-up obsession, the one I wish I had tried years ago is KIKO Milano, because my first impressions of this brand and their gorgeous products have been so high I'm kicking myself for not picking up some of their goodies sooner.
