So April has been a HUGE month for me for many reasons...not to mention that I got published on Thought Catalogue and I finally paid the last instalment on my trip to New York in August - which is a big relief financially, but also means that I can now start to get really excited! It's been an awesome April, and I would usually write a round-up post when a month has been particularly eventful. However I'm switching things up this time and focusing on one of my biggest loves to help deliver this months round-up style post...

Here's To The Girl Boss Generation

I've been thinking a lot recently about what it means to be a woman in her late twenties. As I'm getting older, I'm more comfortable with who I am. I think this is because you realise that there is no such thing as 'perfect' in any sense of the word - whether it's how you look, or the personality traits that you have. You reach a point where you don't hate your imperfections quite as much, and you're  more accepting of them. Kinda like annoying TV shows that fill the time slot before your favourite program starts - you're never going to love it, but you accept that it's there.
